This work takes its point of departure in my own childhood memory of a failed beheading and headless chicks running screaming across the lawn.
Sliding along the limit of pain and pleasure, playfully bringing into view stereotypical female roles such as the suffering woman, the sexy and the one who acts like a child, this work seeks to adress otherness, failed communication and bodies response to language and its breaking points.
(Imagine, if you will, the bizarre fact that the chicken, even after loosing her head got to keep her voice)
